Polifoam foam polythene
Produced of closed cell structure, chemically cross linked polyethylene foam excellent insulation
materials (cold-warm). POLIFOAM has a wide range of manufacturing products which differ by:
-thickness (1-120 mm);
-density (30-180 kg/m3);
-colour (above 20);
-material surface appearance (above 7 stamping and 8 laminating sort).

POLIFOAM foam polythene basic parameters: -very good heat insulation parameter (10mm POLIFOAM polythene is equal to 120mm brick wall or 45mm wooden wall);
-perfect noise insulation (with small thickness and density noise damping is up to 30dB);
-good vapour protection (beginning from 4mm); -efficient humidity and vapour protection that make reliable using of POLIFOAM as humidity insulation (due to closed cell structure doesn't absorb water);
-excellent chemical resistance(concrete, petrol, acetone etc.); -no hazard to health; -perfect bacteria and mould resistance features;
-insects and rodents will not eat it; -cuttable by scissors or knife; -weldable by hot air blower hand welder; -bending and ripping reliability (chemically cross linked on the molecular base underlay allows to restore material initial view and have a good bending reliability parameter);
-septically protected and long-lasting (during 50 years using time physical-mechanical parameters stand; POLIFOAM is produced from polymer and due to this has a stronger microbiological resistance);
-unique material structure allows to shape and cut whatever types (technology JET CUT). POLIFOAM products have wide application range: -industrial and civil building;
-machine building, automobile industry (vibration, noise level reducing and heat insulation improvement);
-orthopaedics and prosthetics (corset-holders, head-holders, sole-holders etc.); -sewing, footwear industry, haberdashery (intermediate pieces with different density and thickness; solid frames for bags, suitcases files; musical instrument sheath's insulation, termobag's producing; footwear sole's, elastic material's producing etc.); -packaging (reliable protection against mechanical damages during transporting);
-sports, recreation, travel good's manufacturing (travelling and beach mats; wrestling and sports mats; boxing protectors; life jackets, buoys, swimming and aquaaerobics resources); -toy's manufacturing. POLIFOAM application in the building area Outside and inside wall's insulation; floor layer's heat and noise insulation; underlay for laminate floor,
board floor and other floor cover installations; insulation for the artificial lawns;
tightening for asbestos cement and tile roofs; heat and noise insulation for plasterboards, board sheeting.
POLIFOAM can be used during concrete solidification (in the winter time);
water system, cooling and ventilation equipment pipe's insulation etc.
POLIFOAM application under levelling layer POLIFOAM sheets to be placed in on layer adjusting in edges. Next upperlayer to be placed checkered, whereby upperlayer and underlayer edge's joints are not to be on the same line. Along the walls and armatures for the insulation purpose must be used POLIFOAM dilatating foam profile. Installation procedures must be carried out with precautionary measures, not damaging foam polythene layer. It is strongly recommended to avoid concrete levelling layer contact with wall to prevent noise bridge, heat losses and concrete cracking. In the humid sites foam polythene sheets must be hermetically jointed between by glueing or welding (hot air blower hand welder). Concrete layer recommended thickness in comparison with POLIFOAM thickness is 1:10, but not less than 50mm.

Remark: POLIFOAM is not UV resistant, therefore foam polythene is recommended to cover by protection layer, e.g. aluminium foil or decorative coating. |
